Architecture shapes behavior

The behavior of a system does not emerge randomly.

It emerges from its architecture: how roles interact, how decisions move, and how incentives are arranged.

When that architecture is unclear or misaligned, behavior becomes harder to interpret and friction can appear across the system.

The output of a diagnosis is a Diagnostic Memo.

It is not an execution plan.

It is a bounded written artifact that reconstructs the system, identifies the main sources of friction or ambiguity, clarifies the constraints shaping the situation, and frames what should be understood before further action is taken.

The purpose is not to prescribe implementation.

The purpose is to make the system legible enough to separate structural causes from operational noise, understand which signals actually matter, and identify which decisions deserve attention next.
